The ‘Request to Book’ process allows you to submit your personal information, credit card details and a send a message to the Property Manager to ‘Request to book’ their property. WHAT DO YOU NEED MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?
You are required to provide your first name, surname, email, phone number and address. When the booking request is sent to the Property Manager, only your first name is shared with the Property Manager in the booking request. CAN I ASK THE PROPERTY MANAGER A QUESTION?
Yes. You can click on ‘Ask a Question’ before submitting a booking request. This will send an email to the Property Manager. Or, when you submit a Booking Request, you have the option to include your question, or even just introduce yourself. The message will be sent with the Booking Request.
WHAT HAPPEN’S WHEN I CLICK ON CONFIRM BOOKING REQUEST?
This is the final booking request page. Here we ask for your credit card information. Holidaying with Dogs uses a payment gateway called eWAY. It is an Australian owned platform that facilitates online payments between guests and Holidaying with Dogs. eWAY are PCI DSS Compliant. The Property Manager is sent a notification which includes the details of when you would like to stay, the number of adults, children and dogs. They are required to review the booking request details and either ‘Accept’ or ‘Decline’ the booking request.
WHAT HAPPEN’S IF THE PROPERTY MANAGER ACCEPTS THE BOOKING?
If the Property Manager ‘Accepts’ the booking, your credit card will be charged the full amount of the booking. You will be emailed a booking confirmation. The Property Manager will be provided with your full information and contact you directly regarding access to the property and any other information relevant to your stay. If there is a refundable bond payable for the booking, this is not charged until 48 hours prior to check-in.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PROPERTY MANAGER DECLINES THE BOOKING?
We encourage Property Managers to respond within 24 hours, but in some instances, it may be faster than this, or take slightly longer. At any time, you can cancel your Booking Request if you are concerned it is taking too long. Go to My Account > My Holidays. ***No pets allowed in Bedrooms or on any furniture. Any evidence of pets in/on beds will incur an Extra Cleaning Fee of $100.
Please leave the property in a clean and tidy state as at the start of your holiday, with all rubbish put in outside appropriate bins, and dishwasher emptied.
• Please vacuum all sand, dog hair from the property.
• *******PLEASE***** report any damages etc DURING your stay. The amount will automatically come out of your bond once the cleaners have arrived and taken photos.
• **Garbage night is Thursday night, and every second Thursday night is the Yellow bin recycled night. Please assist by moving the bins up to the road, thanks a million.
• If your gas runs out please take the bottle to the United Service Station in Pambula and ring me and I shall reimburse your credit card immediately. Please leave the gas bottle receipt on the kitchen bench when you leave, and I will refund to your bank account, thank you.
• Local rules about dogs on beaches must be adhered to.
• Dogs must be under the owner's control at all times, must be kept confined in the backyard when not on a lead, must not be allowed to roam the streets, and must not disturb the neighbours.
• Guests are fully responsible for the safety of their dog and no liability can be accepted for any misadventure (including as a result of inadequate fencing or escape from the yard)
• The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
• ****Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in ADVANCE.
• **** Extra beds used will incur a fee of $50 per bed per night for the entire length of the booking period. This amount will be automatically deducted from your BOND after the cleaners report to the owner.
• *Any dispute re damage/extra bed charge/chargeback shall be also charged a $100 an hour fee for providing evidence to bank/solicitor.
• Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs, etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
• Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenant's responsibility during their stay.
• **Souveniring of landlords property - If you wish to souvenir any items from the cottage the fees below shall be automatically deducted from your Bond.
• Towels - @ $25 each
• Sheets - @ $50 each
• Doonas - @ $100 each
• Pillows - @$20 each
• **Excess cleaning will be charged at a $100 surcharge.
• **A $100 fee will incur for any unclean barbeque.
• *Check-out time is 10 am by the latest, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests.
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
• *NSW Noise laws state all noise must stop at 10 pm Sunday to Thursday night inclusive and midnight Friday and Saturday nights.
• ***Travel insurance is advised.
• Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
• Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
