By clicking on request to book, you have reviewed the property information and prices and are ready to make a booking. The ‘Request to Book’ process allows you to submit your personal information, credit card details and a send a message to the Property Manager to ‘Request to book’ their property. Please note, the ‘Booking Request’ is not a confirmed booking until the Property Manager ‘Accepts’ the booking.
WHAT DO YOU NEED MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?
You are required to provide your first name, surname, email, phone number and address. When the booking request is sent to the Property Manager, only your first name is shared with the Property Manager in the booking request. CAN I ASK THE PROPERTY MANAGER A QUESTION?
Yes. You can click on ‘Ask a Question’ before submitting a booking request. This will send an email to the Property Manager. Or, when you submit a Booking Request, you have the option to include your question, or even just introduce yourself. The message will be sent with the Booking Request.
WHAT HAPPEN’S WHEN I CLICK ON CONFIRM BOOKING REQUEST?
This is the final booking request page. Here we ask for your credit card information. Holidaying with Dogs uses a payment gateway called eWAY. It is an Australian owned platform that facilitates online payments between guests and Holidaying with Dogs. eWAY are PCI DSS Compliant. The Property Manager is sent a notification which includes the details of when you would like to stay, the number of adults, children and dogs. They are required to review the booking request details and either ‘Accept’ or ‘Decline’ the booking request.
WHAT HAPPEN’S IF THE PROPERTY MANAGER ACCEPTS THE BOOKING?
If the Property Manager ‘Accepts’ the booking, your credit card will be charged the full amount of the booking. You will be emailed a booking confirmation. The Property Manager will be provided with your full information and contact you directly regarding access to the property and any other information relevant to your stay. If there is a refundable bond payable for the booking, this is not charged until 48 hours prior to check-in.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PROPERTY MANAGER DECLINES THE BOOKING?
We encourage Property Managers to respond within 24 hours, but in some instances, it may be faster than this, or take slightly longer. At any time, you can cancel your Booking Request if you are concerned it is taking too long. Go to My Account > My Holidays. Alternatively, you can contact the Holidaying with Dogs team at info@holidayingwithdogs.com.au.
The Salty Sea Dog is a newly built in 2010, two storey bright and spacious weatherboard house set in the pretty town of Normanville. It's position in Bungala Fields provides sumptuous view of the ocean, hills and, to the rear, Lady Bay golf course. The garden is fully fenced providing security for pets and small children. The fields around the property attract many colourful native birds and the local kangaroos .With four bedrooms, each with a Queen sized bed, and one with a bunk bed, it can be comfortably enjoyed by up to 10 people (two families or two to three couples wanting to escape for a weekend or longer).

The house is totally self contained with, upstairs, a fully equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with air conditioning, television, dvd player, cd player, books and games. A lounge area is also available downstairs, with television, for the children to enjoy separately (or perhaps for the adults to have some peace and quiet!). There are spacious balconies both at the front and rear of the properties providing excellent entertainment areas and outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and ocean.
The Salty Sea Dog is a short stroll to the beautiful Normanville Beach and the renowned local cafes and hotel.Many of the cafe are dog friendly. It is also close to Yankalilla, with it's accompanying hotel and shops, and Carrickalinga. Enjoy the beach, relax in the house or explore the magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula at any time of the year.
We are very pet friendly,with great dog friendly beaches and parks nearby.
The base pricing is for 2 people. Any additional guests are charged at $10 per person per night.

Our charge is based on 2 adults sharing ,a charge of 10 dollars per head per night over 2 adults.

Then breach of contract has occurred and bond will not be returned.

The Salty Sea Dog is located in a very quiet area with views of the ocean & hills. A short drive to the excellent Normanville beach. Very relaxing & enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay, the property was so beautiful and comfortable. We had the pleasure of having kangaroos playing and cow?s grazing on the grass to watch out the back. Our fur baby Scooby had a fantastic time too. The welcome pack was a beautiful touch too. We will definitely be back.
