About This Listing
Uhuru Chalets are located on the scenic route half-way between Albany and Denmark. There are two chalets. The 2 bedroom chalet sleeps four people and the Wagon is designed to provide a romantic hideaway for a couple. Everything is provided in both chalets. Well-mannered dogs are welcome and all we ask is that they bring their own beds.
The chalets are located in a bush setting on Uhuru's 20 acre property. Kangaroos and bandicoots are frequently seen and a great number of birds are to be spotted at any time of the year. Wildflowers, especially in springtime, are abundant.
Along one side of the property a creek flows, a good walk for dogs on holiday and a dog-friendly beach is fairly close by at Cosy Corner where dogs can go to exercise, have a swim or just simply enjoy themselves.
Uhuru Chalets offer peace and seclusion, away from the rat race and the stresses of everyday life, a place to get back to a quiet way of life and, of course, being centrally located Uhuru provides easy access to the many attractions on the south coast of Western Australia.
