The space
With 2 bathrooms and 3 lounge rooms, this home is ideal for a big family or group. The kitchen boasts ample bench and cupboard space, microwave and dishwasher. With an open plan dining & main living area complete with brand new lounges, a second living room with workstation and third living room with fireplace – this place is complete with all the little luxuries! After your days out in the sun, enjoy some down time indoors, as this home is fitted with reverse-cycle air-conditioning in 2 of the lounge rooms cooling (or heating) the whole house.
The bedrooms are furnished with freestanding wardrobes so guests can unpack and settle in. The main bathroom includes a bath, and the laundry with washing machine and dryer mean absolute convenience for guests on longer stays.
Outside you’ll find a huge sparkling pool, to cool off without having to go anywhere, and a small enclosed yard for kids or fur-kids to run and play! The outdoor deck is complete with a BBQ & 6-seater dining setting. You can even bring your boat to this home, as the driveway is big enough to accommodate!
History: This lovely cottage was built and occupied by a well-known Forster fisherman, Norman Grant, for over 60 years. He owned a boat called Nordic for 40 years, catching and selling a variety of fish and lobsters. The garage still has the two seafood cold rooms used by Norman to store his daily catch. Also a strong swimmer, Norman performed many rescues over the years and was recognised with a Royal Humane Society bravery award in the mid-60s, and later a Maritime Medal. Nordic is still in use today, renamed Nordic Star.

3rd room – 1 x Single bed & 1 x Single trundle (please note, this is a small room behind the kitchen with a privacy curtain, but no door)
