Som House at Shoal Bay is a wonderful summer and winter retreat, set in a quiet location in Shoal Bay. With a huge range of activities to enjoy swimming, surfing, fishing, national parks, para-sailing and of course, enjoying time with all the family, including 4-legged loved ones.

Many guests book again, happy in the knowledge that they can have a comfortable, relaxing holiday with their dog. And surprised at how much there is to see and do in Port Stephens and the surrounding areas.

Som House Villa 1 has 1 Queen sized bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, perfect for family and friends. The villa has a comfortable, sun-drenched open plan living and dining leading out to a secure and enclosed courtyard with an under-cover outdoor setting that is ideal for dining, relaxing or a BBQ at the end of the day. The courtyard and garden area is compact, so it is ideal for smaller dogs. Please see the photos to ensure it suits your fur-family.

Facilities include free internet Wifi, Smart TV and DVDs, games as well as free Netflix. The villa has a fully-equipped kitchen area plus a separate laundry and bathroom. There is also a single garage for your car and off-street parking.

Som House villa 1 is air-conditioned and has ceiling fans throughout. All linen is supplied for a wonderfully relaxing holiday and a breakfast selection is also included, full of everything for a healthy start to your stay. Your four-legged loved ones are also most welcome inside. We kindly ask owners to bring their own dog’s bedding and bowls, and that their dogs be immunised and toilet trained.

We had a lovely stay at Shearwater at Shoal Bay Cottage 1 with the Milo and Ringo. The cottage had everything you could possibly ask for when away from Home. Thanks Michelle and Andrew for a comfortable and comprehensive breakfast fridge!! Our only mention is that the garden is a little small and although dog friendly, not much grass to explore.

Nice, well maintained, clean and fresh property. Lots of extra little touches in the pantry and for the furbabies. Air con in each room and plenty of space. Great value for money.
