The Harvester Home short term accommodation is a tropical resort style holiday home sleeping up to 15 persons using existing bedding, as per the published rate. The Harvester Home encompasses the ground floor of the main house which sleeps 8 and the attached Annex unit sleeps another 7. Two extra persons can be accommodated in the day bed and fold down sofa located in the Annex - additional costs apply

The Harvester Home main house has four bedrooms 2 queen, 1 double, 2 king singles and the Annex unit has 3 bedrooms 1 double, 2 singles, 3 king singles. All rooms are ceramic tiled; have plenty of windows opening up to clean fresh air; are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning and fitted out with insect and security screens.
The house is fully self catering with kitchen and spacious living area, a desk area in the entrance foyer and two outdoor porches overlooking the gardens. There is a large laundry with dressing area, hanging rail and washing machine & dryer, and separate toilet & bathroom with hand held shower and safety grab rails.
The attached unit has an extra living area, is wheelchair friendly and has wheelchair accessible toilet and bathroom facilities with hand held shower and safety grab rails and another laundry.
The undercover entertainment area which separates the residences features an open air, fully equipped kitchen with gas hotplates, electric oven, BBQ, fridge and a range of appliances. Dining tables & chairs, plenty of comfortable seating and ceiling fans create a casual ambiance overlooking the large saltwater pool, child's cubby house & swing set, tropical gardens and mountains beyond.
Whilst the house is situated on a secondary arterial road in the suburbs, entering the confines of the fenced and gated property reveals a tropical resort style oasis. An ideal alternative to hotel rooms, the holiday home offers space, privacy and room to move - perfect for families, groups, contractors or travellers. The home-away-from-home environment is suitable for holidays, relocations or group travel.
The Harvester Home is centrally located to Cairns, approximately 5kms from the city and 8kms from the Cairns Airport. The Raintrees Shopping Centre and a public transport depot is an easy 5 minutes walk, the bus stops directly opposite the house.
The property is well maintained with regular pool, lawn and garden maintenance and owner/caretaker on-site.The accommodation is fully self contained, bed linen, bath and pool towels are provided. Electricity and broadband WIFI is included in the tariff, subject to fair use.
