Elmtree Cottage is set in a quiet, well established garden only 6 blocks from the centre of Bathurst.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of the birds in the trees. Gaze through the vine covered pergola at the distant hills and wonder at the ever changing kaleidoscope of natures’ bounty. Gardeners love the cool climate plants, the blossoms in Spring, and the riot of colour in the Autumn leaves.

Discover sculptures and paintings scattered throughout the garden or just sit and enjoy the view as you spread out with the morning papers under the elm tree.

From this accommodation you can walk to Bathurst’s famous National Trust listed Miss Traill’s House.

The cottage is also an excellent base for visiting Mayfield Gardens or the Open Garden Scheme properties in the district.With Bathurst Base Hospital only two blocks away the cottage is a great choice for visiting doctors and relatives visiting patients.

There are two restaurants close by to the accommodation or you can create your own meals in the self-contained kitchen.

Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to town center and host is very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again.

Accomodation was nice, owner friendly and welcoming. Dogs more than welcomed.. is at rear of owners property no fenced area for dog to use. Other than that place was great!
