About This Listing

1891 self-contained Victorian pet-friendly Cottage. Stay in surroundings reminiscent of the early days of the Hobart Town settlement. Built in 1891, this lovingly restored classic example of early Victorian architecture oozes charm and warm hospitality, offering a taste of yesteryear but renovated with convenience and the traveller's comfort in mind.

Featuring stained glass windows and furnished with antique pieces and collectables, this cosy self-contained accommodation offers a living and dining room, double bedroom, separate bathroom and a private courtyard. The cottage is ideally suited for a couple and their pooch. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences so it's just like a home away from home. Peck's on Pine is ideally situated for convenience to local shops, and within walking distance of Hobart city. Tariff includes a breakfast platter, vegetarian or vegan. A discount is available for no supplies, just self-contained accommodation. We don't support factory farmed food products and only use palm oil free products and vegan where possible. There is a fully stocked book and DVD library.

We warmly welcome our 4-legged VIP’s. Special treats on arrival, with water bowl and poo bags provided. There are lots of lovely parks nearby for great walks and the café across the road provides water bowls so your dog can join you for coffee or meals. The cottage has a printed list of places you can visit with your pooch, one being Port Arthur. It’s really special being able to wander these amazing grounds and historic buildings with your best friend by your side.
