Discover the Magic of the Upper Murray with Snowy Mountain Holidays.

Snowy Mountain Holidays is located in the rural town of Towong in NE Victoria.
Built on a ridge, we overlook the Upper Murray River and onto the Snowy Mountains Range.

The views from here are magnificent, the area is a quiet pastoral wonder world. Plenty of places to take your dog on walks and adventures or just stay here and enjoy the peace.

We offer two cottages, uniquely constructed with open beams and a cozy atmosphere on one acre.
We can accommodate up to 10 people between the two cottages which are listed as two properties. The cottages are near to each other, so make interaction easy. There is an additional charge of $90 per night to book both cottages.
The cottages are fully self-contained with linen provided and air conditioned.
Each cottage has a full kitchen, microwave, TV, (DVD upon request), stereo and BBQ.

Dogs are welcome here and have full freedom of our property.
Dogs are allowed inside, but must not be wet or muddy.
They are not allowed on any furniture.
We ask that you bring along doggy towels and their bedding.
Dogs are not allowed left inside unattended or left tied up outside if they are likely to become distressed and bark.
We can tell you about a number of places you can take your dog for walks from our property and in the Upper Murray area.

Lovely little cottage with fire place and plenty of beautiful views and space for dog to run around. Short drive to town for groceries and a couple of restaurants/shops. Owner very friendly.

My dog Banjo and I stayed 7 nights in cottage 1. It was a perfect getaway for us. A lovely quiet location, cattle viewed from the front door, and out the back of the property a platform to sit and take in the magnificent view of the Murray River and snow topped mountains. Gorgeous sunsets and chilly nights. The log fire kept the cottage snug and cozy. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean with lots of little extras like ear plugs, hot water bottle, extra heater in bedroom and split system in the main living area. Kitchen was well equiped with everything. BBQ at the front door. Excellent walks along a quiet dirt road with views of the river flats and mountains. Bird life aplenty. The hosts Sarah and Ron were very approachable and knowledgeable ain regards to the local area, flora and flora. I would recommend a stay here if you enjoy peace and quiet.
