Maximum number of Occupants

The number of guests of the rented premises must not exceed the number of beds provided or the number agreed to with the Cape Cottages at the time of booking. The BOND of $500 will be forfeited if this is the case and eviction from the property will be immediate.

Weddings, Parties, Events or......anything.

Properties we manage are to be used purely for holiday accommodation only. A charge of $2500.00 will be incurred should any type of function be held at the property.

All bedding and towels will be made up to match the number of guests booked.

Cleaning

We ask that the properties be treated as your own and left as you found them. It is the guest's responsibility to clean the BBQ. Any excess cleaning or removal of excess rubbish will be deducted from your bond.


Linen Choose your favourite bedroom, of course, if you have a Goldilocks streak in you, you are welcome to sleep in them all, although any extra beds slept in will incur an extra guest charge of $50 p/p p/n, and towels will incur an extra guest charge of $20 p/p p/n.


Arrival and Departure

In peak season, check in is 3pm and check out is strictly 10am on the day of departure. In mid and low season, the check in time is 2pm and check out time can vary according to individual requirements. (Check out time will be verified on arrival)

Smoking

All properties are non-smoking without exception.

Damage

As a guest, you are responsible for all damages, breakages and losses incurred during the term of your occupancy. All damages, breakages and losses must be replaced, paid for or made good to the satisfaction of the owner. This includes replacing/recutting lost keys.

Personal property

No responsibility will be taken by the owner for guest's possessions left at the property. If items are left and need to be returned, a self-addressed post bag is to be sent to our office for item/s to be retrieved.

Pets Ollies View (Max 2 dogs) To ensure we can provide pet friendly accommodation it is the responsibility of the pet owner to ensure their pets safety.

We ask that you be considerate of other guests (who may or may not have pets of their own). As Cape Cottages is on farmland and beside other farms there is wildlife of all kinds please be mindful and if unsure please keep your pet on lead.

Please do not leave your pet in the cottages or within the grounds on its own. All pets must be taken with you if leaving Cape Cottages.

The BOND of $500 will be forfeited if it has been found your pets have been left on grounds or in either Ollies View or Sassys Dream by themselves and / or without supervision.

As a guest and pet owner, you are responsible for all damages your pet may cause inc breakages and losses incurred during the term of your occupancy. All damages, breakages and losses must be replaced, paid for or made good to the satisfaction of the owner.


Pond Cape Cottages has an unfenced dam on its acreage. Guests and/or their Visitors are not permitted to enter the dam under any circumstances and swimming, fishing and/or any other activity in the dam are strictly prohibited. Guests acknowledge and agree that we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of a breach of this condition.


Guests and/or their Visitors will not be entitled to claim or recover damages from us because of a breach of this condition. All liability to all Guests and/or their Visitors in negligence arising out of a breach of this of this condition is excluded. Guests must control and be responsible for ensuring that Visitors comply with these terms and conditions.


Indemnity

1. The guest:

a) uses and occupies the premises at his/her own risk; and b) Indemnifies the owner against any liability, which may attach to the owner as a result of injury or loss being personal or proprietary suffered by any person where any injury damage or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the guest or his/her agent. Disclaimer Cape Cottages does not accept liability in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, extreme weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents, theft to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. For the avoidance of doubt, the Cancellation Policy applies to cancellations by reason directly or indirectly related to events which are beyond our control including warnings issued by any authority.

Privacy All personally identifying information that you provide voluntarily (e.g. name, address and phone number) will only be used by Cape Cottages to respond to your enquiry and to provide our services and to offer you other products or services that we believe may interest you. Cape Cottages will not sell, trade, share or licence the information you provide to any other entity.
