Import your calendars from other booking sites and export the Holidaying with Dogs calendar to synchronise your bookings.

Import calendar

This calendar will accept an iCal file (.ics) or an iCal URL from other booking websites such as Airbnb, VRBO/Stayz, Booking.com and RipaRide.

1. Click on ‘Import Calendar’
2. Paste iCal URL into the first field
3. Name the URL in the second field. For example ‘Airbnb’. This name will be reflected on any imported dates from that bookign site.
4. Click ‘Save’.
5. To import another calendar, click ‘Add New’. Up to five calendars can be imported per property.
6. To exit, click ‘Close’.
7. The Holidaying with Dogs website will automatically update iCal links every 5 minutes. To update imported bookings immediately, click on ‘Import Calendar’ and ‘Refresh’ the calendar.

Export calendar

The calendar can be exported as an iCal file (.ics) or an iCal URL. This iCal link can be imported in saved into other booking websites such as Airbnb, VRBO/Stayz, Booking.com and RipaRide. These booking sites are responsible for updating and refreshing this link to keep reservations up to date. Please refer to their individual websites to find update timings.

1. Click on ‘Export Calendar’
2. To access the URL iCal file, click into the link cell and copy the link
3. Access other booking sites to import the Holidaying with Dogs iCal link. Refer to links below for more information regarding importing and exporting on other booking websites.

PLEASE NOTE: Holidaying with Dogs doesn’t control how frequently Holidaying with Dogs bookings are updated on other websites. Refer to the links below to find this information for each booking website.

Updating your calendar manually

To block out dates in your calendar in bulk, ensure you have selected the relevant property:

1. Click the first date in the series you wish to make unavailable. This will highlight the field in grey.
2. Click the final date in the series that you wish to make unavailable. All the dates in between these two points will be marked as ‘Blocked’. Add booking information by clicking on ‘Edit details’.
3. To make the dates available again, repeat this process.
