If you live in Victoria and have a dog, then a get-away to Phillip Island is a must!  Whether you want to rent a cosy home and stick to the neighbourhood or get out and about with your pooch, there\u2019s plenty to do.<\/p>\n\n\n

Phillip Island Dog Friendly Beaches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two long stretches of continuous beach that have both on and off-lead areas.  Pearl and I walked both and had a fun time taking in the beautiful scenery, meeting other dogs along the way and sniffing seaweed (Pearl, not me).  The first runs from Ventnor to Cowes and the second from Cape Woolamai to Newhaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is another good-sized beach at Silverleaves where dogs are permitted on-lead and for more mixed terrain, you can walk between Smith\u2019s Beach and Surf Beach \u2013 some of the walk is along the beach and other parts are across the cliff tops.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
