The Summit 1770 - Dingo Den
(minimum 2 Nights)
About This Listing
Our three cottages are situated on a 40-acre property, high up on a hill, overlooking Agnes Water and the Pacific Ocean. Tranquil and secluded, yet only 2 minutes from the town centre, this property has all you need for a relaxing holiday with your furry friends.
Wake up to beautiful sunrises from your own private deck, spend the day exploring the Agnes area and walking our golden beaches. Back at the cottage take a walk to our stunning sunset viewing area, or sit by the fire pit gazing up at the stars at night.
Each cottage features one bedroom with queen bed, en suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and a private deck.
Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Guests with well-behaved dogs are welcome to leave their dogs off the lead. Dogs are allowed inside, however, we do ask you to keep them off the furniture. A great idea is to bring your own dog blanket or bed with you from home, to help settle in your dog.
The Summit 1770’s owner, Chris de Aboitiz, an Australian dog whisperer and former world champion tandem surfer, was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in Kailua on the windward side of Oahu, Hawaii. At 15, Chris was working as a beachboy at the famous Waikiki Beach, teaching tourists how to surf, sail, and windsurf. And the welcoming aura of the beachboy has never left him.
Back in Australia, Chris opened the Noosa Longboards shop in 1994. Chris has always enjoyed sharing his skills, teaching others how to tackle demanding water sports. He dominated surf events for more than a decade, and rekindled tandem surfing in Australia, winning the World Tandem Surfing Championships in 1999.
Chris is a water sports innovator, credited with bringing kite-surfing and stand up paddle-boarding (SUP) to Australia. He opened the first kite-surfing shop in Australia, providing kite-surfing lessons and also teaching his son Keahi. Keahi de Aboitiz went on to become four-times Kite-surfing World Champion.
Combining his passion for sharing his skills with his lifelong love of dogs, Chris started a career in dog training more than a decade ago. In 2016 he founded SupDogOz, a holistic lifestyle brand, reflecting his passions for the ocean, dogs and teaching.
Today, Chris continues to share his knowledge, engaging a local and global audience with his aspirational and adventurous dog surfing entertainment. Chris de Aboitiz promotes the choice of dog adoption and makes his dog training educational seminars, workshops and online programs for healthy and happy dog bonding available worldwide.
