About This Listing

Our lovely colonial style cottages are set privately amongst the trees on a quiet 15 acre property, 4 km from Anglesea, just a five minute drive to shops, restaurants, golf clubs, horse riding, bike riding, lawn bowls, yachting, diving, hang gliding, surfing, and famous surf coast beaches.

The cottages have great character with the warmth of fully pine lined rooms and exposed oregon ceilings. The slate floor and cozy open fire in the lounge are great for putting your feet up to watch a movie, (Melbourne channels) or just plain relax.

For outdoor living, a verandah provides shade for those lazy hot days. Each cottage can comfortably accommodate 4-6 guests, one double bed in the main room, and two double bunks or singles in the other. Pillows and doonas are provided. Sheets and towels can be hired from us or you may bring your own.

The kitchen is equipped with double hotplate cook top, microwave oven, fridge, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, pots, skillet, crockery, cutlery and tea towel. The bathroom consists of shower, toilet, basin, and wash trough.

Each cottage also has an outdoor table and chairs. Activities on the property include a tennis court, kids play area, salt water swimming pool (seasonal) on a spacious sun area.

We do allow quiet well behaved pets! So long as they are kept with you at all times while on the property, and are not left alone in cottages. There are endless bush trails through the lovely heathland just outside our gate, great for walking or riding a mountain bike.

If you are after a quiet peaceful stay this place is great. The cottage is cosy and clean. I was disappointed on arrival as the pictures shown don't represent the reality. The pool area was very dirty with the pool being unusable and very green. There is no playground, and the tennis court is not maintained at all, with weeds growing around the net area, and pitholes in the bitumen. If you don't need any of these things, the location is great to get to Torquay and Anglesea, Bells Beach, the Chocolatier place next door is great to grab a coffee. I loved the fact that our dog was able to roam leash free, and that she could stay inside. The fire was a lovely treat to have of any evening. I didn't engage with anyone, other than to ask which cabin was mine. There appears to be a number of full time residents in the other cottages but didn't engage with them.

A wonderful long weekend spent with our dog Quantum. The cabin was cosy, clean and had all the comforts. The fireplace was a wonderful way to spend the evenings after spending the days exploring the area. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
