Bayz on the River has beautiful views overlooking Maroochy River and sandy beach
The foreshore has just recently received an upgrade and has bbq, shelters and sun beds along the river. It’s the perfect place for a stroll with your furbaby along the boardwalk

The newly refurbished and larger Sunshine Plaza is within walking distance or a very short drive away with amazing new shops, cafes, bars and cinemas. A huge Timezone has also just been added to the Plaza.

The Big Top centre has bowling and amusement arcade . The kids wont be bored!

When it’s time to relax there is no need to cross the road to access the sandy beach as there is an underpass approx 50 meters from the front door (turn right) to take you directly to the beach and rivers edge... or just sit on the balcony overlooking the water and enjoy watching the activities.

You have endless possibilities to choose from ,bike or walk your dog along the footpath, kayak along the calm Maroochy river or have a swim . Cross the footbridge to Chambers Island for a barbecue or picnic where kids can play on the newly updated playground.

We have two youth kayaks with life jackets , two bikes and 2 boogie boards at the property that you are welcome to borrow. We just ask that you carry the kayaks to and from the water and not drag them as it ruins the bottom.

Boats, jet ski, extra kayaks or catamaran can be hired 100 metres up the road from Swan boat hire or have a go at some snorkelling.

Within walking distance or a short drive to Cotton Tree which is popular for dining and Maroochydore beach.

Walk to the ever popular Ocean street where there are restaurants and bars to enjoy, great to grab a bite to eat and listen to live music.

We are a vegan friendly property so no leather couches or feather quilts. Guest amenities are cruelty free. You will also find a book full of local cafe’s and restaurants that offer vegan and vegetarian options on their menu....too many to chose from :)

Standard rate is $180 which is only $30 night per person if 6 guests stay... great value ...cheaper than backpackers! 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY

Although we charge a cleaning fee ...We DO NOT charge for linen, towels, portacot, high chair, wifi , pets , bikes or kayaks

Bus stop on Bradman ave plus courtesy buses are available to most local surf and RSL Clubs

Your beds will be made up with fresh linen for your stay , we also leave a starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, doggie treats, soy milk and fruit juice.

*Air conditioning in main living area, ceiling fans in all other rooms.

YOUR PET IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE UNIT BUT NOT ON BEDS OR FURNITURE PLEASE, THE CLEANERS WILL CHARGE EXTRA FOR DOG HAIRS ON FURNITURE.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Electric oven and cook top and a dishwasher ready to take care of the cleaning.
Flat screen TV in lounge and also in the main bedroom.
Outside there is a small garden with gated entry , room enough to store a tinny or canoes
The single garage houses a washing machine and dryer.
The garage attached to this unit is small so if you have a large car there is street parking available
Coles have an online shopping service which can deliver to your door for a small fee, log in details will be sent in your arrival email should you wish to pre-order.

The Sunshine Coast region

Maroochydore is at the heart of the Sunshine Coast. It is known for its beautiful beaches, river precinct, shopping, entertainment and recreational facilities. A long walking track runs from Sunshine Plaza to Cotton Tree and through Alexandra Headland, up to Mooloolaba, and is always busy with people enjoying a stroll, jog or cycle .

Sunshine Plaza is the Sunshine Coast's largest shopping mall and has a large cinema complex, fashion boutiques, department stores and food courts. Maroochydore also offers nightlife with trendy bars and the various Surf Lifesaving Clubs always full of life. When you want to wind down, float on the gentle Maroochy river. The river mouth also offers great kite surfing.

Maroochydore is about 100 kilometres north of Brisbane .
