The Five Paw Dog Friendly Accommodation Awards were created to give special recognition to accommodation facilities that make a special effort to make dogs welcome.

The most important qualification for a Five Paw rating is that accommodation facilities make dogs and their owners feel like valued and welcome guests.

Once guests have completed their stay at your property, they will be invited to review and rate their experience. The ratings are based on the following criteria.

Each time a rating is submitted for your property, the average number of paws will be calculated and displayed with your property listing card. Guests reviews will be made public for other potential guests to read before they make their holiday decisions.

Each year, Holidaying with Dogs will review and select the highest rated properties in each State and feature these properties on the website and via social media. The winning property in each state will be provided with a logo to be used on their own sites and social media. See example below.

The 2017 winners will be awarded in January 2018.
