Self contained holiday accommodation is available at Fleurette's House at Second Valley, formerly the schoolmaster's residence. We offer pet friendly holiday accomodation as featured in 'Dogs on Holiday' and 'Holidays with Dogs'. As featured on Channel 7's "Discover" programme, Fleurette's House is a lovely 1880's Bluestone villa which offers self catering accommodation for up to 8 people, perfect for a romantic escape or a longer family holiday. The house offers charming old world, french inspired accomodation with good, down to earth facilities. The house is set within rambling mediterranean gardens and is a two minute walk to 'Leonard's Mill' pub and restaurant and a short distance from the beach. Beautiful views over Second Valley and the ocean can be enjoyed from the garden and balcony. Children are welcome.

• There is a large well-equipped country kitchen with a wood burning stove, a conventional stove & hob in addition to a microwave, fridge, toaster, and tea and coffee facilities. All standard cooking utensils are provided. The kitchen has a large eight to ten seat french oak table. Crockery and cutlery are provided for eight.
• The living room is equipped with sofas, a television and video; a CD player and a small library of items of interest, old encyclopedias, board games and art materials. Guests are welcome to have an open fire from May to October and at other times by arrangement, a basket of firewood is provided. There is reverse cycle heating and cooling in the main living areas.
• There are three spacious bedrooms each with an antique bed. Pillows and covered quilts are provided. Guests are asked to supply their own linen in the form of top and bottom sheets and towels. The dimensions of the beds are two double beds, one queen size and two single bunks. Access to house linen can be arranged for interstate guests for an additional fee.
• A gas-fired barbecue and an outdoor table & chairs are located in an entertaining area under a rustic pergola at the rear of the house.
• We do have a firm cleaning policy and if guests prefer not to clean then a cleaner can be booked by prior arrangement. All cleaning materials and equipment and vacuum cleaner are provided for your convenience, there is a washing machine. At the side of the house is a woodshed at the side of the house.
• Our aim is to provide accommodation which is family and pet friendly. Dogs are allowed inside at Fleurettes House. We do not aspire to provide 'executive accommodation', instead our focus is on providing charming but affordable accommodation which may appeal to people who have experienced happy times in holiday houses in the the South West of England and in France in days now long gone by.
